I visited the Berlin Mosque and Mission House with Mr. Lampeitl,
the Architect, on March 18th, 2000. When we were approaching the
Mosque I could spot the Minaret from a mile away, Alhamdollih!
It made me so happy to see once again the Minaret shape. We thank
Almighty Allah for all the help we have received. The only thing
left was the painting of the minaret which will be completed in
a few days. We inspected the windows and the doors of the Mission
House and were very pleased with the repair work. The cupola and
all the ornaments for the south Minaret have been completed and
are at the Mission House site. They will be put on the South Minaret
as soon as completed. Mr. Wendlandt and Mr. Lampeitl are trying
to obtain funds for the completion of the South Minaret. The USA
Jamaat has paid 10,000 DM of the Central Anjuman's share. Please
pray for the successful repair of the Berlin Mosque.
