This book in its present form was first published in 1937 and reprinted in the U.S.A. in 1984. The 1937 edition was an expanded version by Maulana Muhammad Ali of an earlier booklet of his published in 1917. The 1917 booklet was partly based on an article written by the Maulana in the Review of Religions in 1906, during the life of the Founder of the Ahmadiyya Movement.
